The DHTML drag-and-drop library available here is fantastic! The author is thorough with its documentation and provides multiple implementation examples. I can't thank him enough for making it available! I applied a variation of his code in a fun little online geocaching puzzle page requiring users to drag and drop images into containers and submit their order for accuracy.
