A view of the Main Building through the spires of a fountain on the campus of the University of Texas at Austin. This photograph was taken by Jim Epler at 10:59 AM on 7/31/2006 in the summer in Austin, TX near the East 23rd Street circle. It is cataloged under the terms cities, architecture, landmarks, cloudscapes and parks & fountains in this photography database.

This image was recorded on digital media using a Canon PowerShot SD200 camera with a lens stopped to f 10 and exposed at a speed of 1/250th of a second.

Photographer Comments: I don't think I was technically allowed to drive up 23rd street to this location, but I did it anyway so I could get this picture. I felt like people were looking at me with disdain so I quickly snapped it and got back in the car. I probably could have gotten a better shot if I had more time to set up the composition.

Additionally, Jim thought of search words that someone might use to locate this picture including the terms Texas, U of T, , fountain, clock tower and main building, so he included these on this page as a service to himself and others who would like to download this free photograph!
