| A very blue view of the Amtrak Surfliner train framed by palm trees, sun shaded skies and large buildings downtown at the train station. This photograph was taken by Jim Epler at 2:01 PM on 7/27/2006 in San Diego, CA at the Santa Fe train Station. It is cataloged under the terms travel, people, cities, architecture, transportation, objects, urban scenes and signs & symbols in this photography database. This image was recorded on digital media using a Canon PowerShot SD200 camera with a lens stopped to f 5.6 and exposed at a speed of 1/400 sec. Photographer Comments: We were on our way to Pasadena this day where my wife had an interview with an Internet company. I remember it was fairly hectic, as she had an interview earlier that morning with a company in San Diego AND we planned to fly to Austin that coming weekend where she was to interview yet again! I like this picture because it includes the depot's distinguished blue "Santa Fe" sign and Mission-styled tower, palm trees, large downtown buildings and Amtrak coach car parked at the platform. I feel it is very representative of life and travel in the ocean city of San Diego, California. |

Additionally, Jim thought of search words that someone might use to locate this picture including the terms San Diego, depot, skyline, downtown, train platform, palm trees, trains, surfliner, buildings, conductor and Santa Fe train station, so he included these on this page as a service to himself and others who would like to download this free photograph! |
