| View of Georgetown and Key Bridge from across the Potomac River near the G.W. Parkway. This photograph captured in October, 1999 was taken by Jim Epler during the fall in Washington, DC at the banks of the Potomac River near the George Washington Parkway. It is cataloged under the terms cities, architecture, lakes & rivers and streets & bridges in this photography database. The image was exposed on 35mm Kodak Tri-X 400 black & white film stock using a Pentax Asahi Spotmatic II camera with a Asahi Pentax 55mm f/2 lens. Photographer Comments: Trekking down to this location under the Key Bridge was a bit more dangerous than I anticipated. First, I had to cross heavy traffic on the GW Parkway. Then I saw a few seedy individuals under the Key Bridge who were making me a bit nervous as I set up to take this shot. |
