A close-up view of Japanese tabi socks worn with sandals. This photograph was taken by Jim Epler at 1:28 PM on 5/19/2007 in Tokyo, JPN at the Asakusa festival. It is cataloged under the term style & fashion in this photography database.

This image was recorded on digital media using a Canon Digital Rebel xTi camera with a Canon 70-200mm f/4 L lens stopped to f 4 and exposed at a speed of 1/1600 sec.

Photographer Comments: Tabi socks are a japanese sock that have a split in the sock for the large toe so they can be worn comfortably with sandals.

Additionally, Jim thought of search words that someone might use to locate this picture including the terms tabi, socks, tobi, Japan, Japanese, sandals and clothing, so he included these on this page as a service to himself and others who would like to download this free photograph!
