| A peaceful mountain gorilla peers back at the crowd. This photograph was taken by Jim Epler at 2:25 PM on 7/21/2007 in San Diego, CA at the San Diego Zoo. This image was recorded on digital media using a Canon Digital Rebel xTi camera with a Canon 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L lens stopped to 5.6 and exposed at a speed of 1/80 sec. Photographer Comments: Sometimes I get sad when I go to the zoo, especially when I visit the gorilla exhibit. I feel like man doesn't have the right to cage these magnificent creatures. They should be permitted to exist peacefully in their native habitat. |
